Curriculum Council

The Central Islip School District Curriculum Council
(CC), is a dedicated group of administrators and teachers who meet monthly to discuss topics relevant to all forms of the curricula. The purpose of Curriculum Council is to provide a systematic means for making decisions about curriculum review, revision and development due to a change in Common Core State Standards. The CC considers issues related to the central oversight of the curriculum, including the review process and the entire Central Islip School District. The CC makes recommendations to the Superintendent of Schools for consideration to be presented to the Board of Education for formal adoption.
